SOIL NUTRITION AND PLANT SELECTION
We annually perform soil and leaves analysis, to control the nutrition levels. We maintain high levels of productivity with minimal environmental impact. Most importantly we import all of our In-Vitro Meristem plants from Costa Rica, once acclimatize and hardened, we proceed to plant them on our farms. This is only possible by having a state of the art Nursery with a capacity for 100,000 plants.
WATER RECYCLING
All of the company’s banana balers have water recycling, where, through several carbon filters, the water in the tubs is filtered and cleaned to be reused. This system is 100% environmentally friendly, since rivers are not contaminated and water extraction from aquifers is minimized.
